There are undertones of romantic feelings for Liz so there is a very faint impression of Kyle/Liz and there are also influences and undertones of a rivalry between Kyle and Max. But those aren't the main focus of the fic. This is a pretty sad one shot but it is a Lamptrimmer fic.

Setting: Takes place after departure and is a stand alone fic about Kyle and his feelings for Tess.
